Pre-owned 1969 King Seiko Hi-Beat Men's Automatic Watch
The 56KS series was the only King Seiko line to be produce by Suwa Seikosha rather than Daini Seikosha. Suwa Seikosha and Daini Seikosha were the two segments of Seiko competing against each other in the high-end watch segment. Suwa Seikosha developed and produced Grand Seiko while Daini Seikosha developed and produced King Seiko. The 56KS watches are the only King Seikos to be produced by the Grand Seiko factory. Notice the Suwa typhoon symbol on the dial just below the words "hi-beat." This differs from the thunderbolt symbol that denotes Daini production.
