Pre-owned Sailor fountain pen. This pen is equipped with a 14k Gold Naginata Fude De Mannen nib. Sailor specialty nibs are uncommon and are inspired by the art of Japanese brush painting. These nibs are part of Sailor's exclusive Bespoke Collection. This particular nib is no longer offered by Sailor. 

The Fude de Mannen is a calligraphy nib that has an upturned end that offers variation in the thickness of the line depending on the angle that the nib is held to the paper. A more vertical angle produces a narrower stroke, and a shallow angle results in a thicker line. The Sailor Fude de Mannen nib is created from a Naginata-Togi nib with its tip bent upward. Fine strokes can be created with the nib in the upside-down position.

Overall, this pen is in Good condition. There are a few very minor scratches and scuffs on the barrel and grip section.
