In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the big three Japanese pan manufacturers introduced pens made of various leathers. While regular cowhide was used, the various leathers included sheepskin, ostrich, toad, lizard and others. The Japanese were truly innovative pen manufacturers during this period.
Pre Owned Sailor Leather Kurokassu ( crocus red ) Pen. This pen features a 18k Gold, EF Gold nib. This Pen is in Fair condition. There is moderate wear from handling on the design as well as scratches and scuffs on the barrel. There is a cracking in the leather on the barrel and tape on the section.
