Pre-owned Sailor 18k Japanese pocket pen. Pocket pens were popular in the late 1960s/1970s. When capped, the pen is short and easily carried in a pocket, purse or bag. When posted (the cap removed and posted on the end of the pen), the pen lengthens to a full-sized pen. The idea is genius and well thought out. Sailor nibs of this era are fantastic writers. This Sailor is equipped with an 18k white gold fine nib. Pen is in fairly good condition. The barrel and grip sections show moderate discoloration. The barrel, cap, and grip sections also show some moderate scuffs and scratches. The cap does show some very light dents.
