In 1959, the Montblanc line up was redesigned. All three-digit pens (142, 144, 146) except the 149 were discontinued. The new line up was slimmer and fitted with a new “butterfly” nib. The pens came in two sizes. The pens were segmented into three tiers Meisterstuck, Medium Range and Economy. Pens ending in “2” were smaller in size while pens ending in “4” were larger.

Pre Owned, vintage Montblanc Meisterstück No. 82 Fountain Pen. This pen features an 18K Gold extra-fine nib. This Pen is in very good condition. Minor scratches and scuffs can be seen on the barrel, grip section, and cap. This pen functions well. The piston filling mechanism has been lubricated and is very smooth.
